Barbara Grygutis, of Tucson, AZ, has created a pedestrian promenade for the Town of Cary's newest park, at the northwest corner of Walnut Street and Lawrence Road. For the Walnut Street Park Grygutis has envisioned an "Imaginary Garden," a complex woven design in native brick. Originating at the parking lot on Lawrence Road, the artist's walkway blossoms into a plaza near the intersection of Lawrence and Walnut. The park dedication was August 8, 2009.
