Cary Visual Art is hosting British artist Helen Marshall September 14 - 17th. Helen Marshall's work is rooted in photography and lens-based media. She also works with digital media, performance, installation, sound and text. The duration of her visit will be spent interacting with school groups and other organizations; A lecture open to the public will take place on Thursday, September 17 at 7:30pm at the Cary Town Hall Council Chambers at 316 North Academy Street. The cost for admission is free!
Helen is currently working on a two year commission in Stratford, East London,"The Story of Stratford." Helen is pursuing further research in photography, the archive and participatory practice within LAARC Museum of London. Learn more about Helen by visiting
