This is a depiction of Wythe Quarles, a career railroad man who was greatly involved in civic and volunteer life in Cary. This bronze piece was made possible by funds raised through the local Rotary Clubs.

Spirit of the Falcon, 2002

Located at Green Hope High School
The first senior class at Green Hope High School graduated in Spring 2002. The senior class council voted to donate a sculpture to the school as their class gift and decided on the falcon, which is the school mascot. Artist Dick Idol created the work of art.
