What is Take a Seat?
A fun community-wide art exhibition and auction designed to increase awareness and support for public art in Cary. Community members participated by creating their own artworks suitable for functional seating.

Take a Seat Auction
Artworks will be auctioned off on Thursday, September 20, 2007 in conjunction with the Cary Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event sponsored by Atlantic Tire & Service and Capital Bank.
Date: Thursday, September 20, 2007
Location: 11000 Regency Parkway in Cary
Time: Doors Open at 5:30 p.m. - Live Auction begins at 7:00
Exhibition Venues
The artworks will be exhibited outdoors at the 2007 Spring Daze and Lazy Daze festivals. During the four month interim between festival exhibitions, the artworks will be exhibited indoors in venues throughout Cary.
